Haryana Teacher Eligibility test (HTET) was held successfully on 02 and 03 December 2023 for Level 1 & 2 (PRT & TGT) and Level 3 (PGT). The result of HTET 2023 has been declared online on 18 December 2023. The test is organized for determining the eligibility of the candidates for teachers in Govt. Schools. Those who qualify this test, will become eligible to apply for these posts.
HTET is conducted for those who fulfills minimum educational qualification and those:
- Who intends to be a teacher for class I to V (Primary teacher) – Level 1.
- Who intends to be a teacher for class VI to VIII (TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher) – Level 2.
- Who intends to be a PGT – Post Graduate Teacher) – Level 3.

The result has been declared now and candidates can check it by visiting the direct links given here. They have to enter their roll number, mobile no. and date of birth for that. After submission of these details, they can know their marks obtained in the examination and qualifying status. Certificate will be issued to qualified candidates who clears the cut off mentioned above, having 7 years validity for all levels.
Cut off Marks:
- For General / Unreserved and OBC : 60% (90 Marks).
- For SC/ST / PWD of Haryana: 55% (83 Marks)
The written test was of objective type having 150 questions and there was no negative marking. All questions except those concerning language subjects, were bilingual i.e. Hindi and English.
Those candidates who are declared qualified shall be awarded a Certificate by the Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani which is valid for seven years. In those years, a candidate can apply for a teaching job for that post.
