Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released advertisement for Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2022.
Through this advt, SSC will fill thousands of vacancies in various forces i.e. BSF, CISF, SSB, ITBP, CRPF, AR, SSF and NCB. Those Indian Citizens who are interested and satisfying the eligibility criteria, can submit online form through ssc.nic.in. Quick details of this recruitment are given below.

Important dates of SSC Constable (GD) 2022 Exam:
- Online form submission : from 27 October to 30 November 2022 (up to 11:00 pm)
- Offline Challan Generation last date : 30 November 2022 (23:00)
- Online Fee and Offline challan Payment : up to 01 December 2022 (23:00)
- Exam Date (Computer Based) : January 2023
Application Fee :
Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) is to be paid by Unreserved / OBC / EWS Male candidates. No fee is applicable for Women of all categories, SC/ST/ESM Male and Female candidates. Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Credit or Debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay) or through cash through SBI Challan.
Eligibility criteria :
(a) Age limit :
18-23 years as on 01-01-2023 (born not earlier than 02-01-2000 and not later than 01-01-2005 in normal course)
However due to unprecedented ‘Covid Pandemic’, three (03) years age relaxation is granted to all categories.
3 years Upper age relaxation is applicable for Other Backword class (NCL) and 5 years relaxation for Scheduled castes / Scheduled Tribes. More details on this can be checked from Advt given at link below.
(b) Educational Qualification as on 01-01-2023 :
Candidate should have passed 10th / Matriculation Examination from a recognized Board/ University.

- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Medical Examination
- Document Verification
PET / PST details:
CAPFs will conduct Physical tests (PET/ PST) and Medical exams (DME/RME).
How to Apply :
Candidates can fill online form of SSC GD Constable 2022 Exam through link below. There they have to click on register link (if they don’t have login id) by entering their aadhar number, name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, roll number as given in matriculation certificate, gender, Email id, state etc. details.
After submission, registration number (username) and password will be generated by ssc.nic.in and Candidates can login using them. After that candidate need to upload their photograph and signature in prescribed format as shown on website and given in notification. After all this, they have to pay fee as mentioned. After final submission, candidate should take printout of the filled application form.
A open competitive examination will be conducted by Staff Selection Commission in January 2023 for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles (AR) and Sepoy in NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau).
