Union Public Service Commission has launched ‘One Time Registration’ (OTR) platform at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in on 24 X 7 basis. It will facilitate the process of submission of applications by the aspirants of various Examinations.

Now candidates need not fill online forms for various exams separately. OTR will not only save candidate’s time and money from filling in their basic personal details again for any subsequent Examination being conducted by the UPSC.
UPSC OTR will eliminate any possibility of submission of incorrect information. Candidate’s basic personal details will be validated by the candidates themselves. Candidate’s time in filling/submitting an online application form will be reduced considerably because about 70% information of an aspirant will automatically be pre-populated in application form. The application submission has been started from 18 August 2022.
One Time Registration is necessary for those candidates who want to apply for any future recruitment of UPSC. All those aspirants, who wish to apply for any future Examination(s) of UPSC, can register themselves in the platform.
To fill OTR online form of UPSC, Visit the direct link below. It will take you directly to Online Registration Page of UPSC. There, you have to click on new registration and enter your details like name, gender, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, minority status, email id, mobile number, class 10th board examination roll number. Then they have to select two security questions and enter captcha code shown on site and click submit.
Candidates are required to fill up their correct basic personal information in UPSC One Time Registration. After registration, the information will remain stored securely in the Commission’s servers and will get automatically populated in the online application form of an Examination for which she/he applies. Candidates are advised to fill in the information in the OTR with extreme care to avoid any complications in future.
